Admission & Course Structure

Welcome to the Global Flute And Music Academy. We offer a structured path for every student, from those picking up the flute for the first time to advanced performers.

1. Absolute Beginner Primary Course

Goal: Essential knowledge before starting with a teacher.

  • Basic Elements of Music & Flute Structure.
  • Basic Fingering Structure.
  • Playing from Low to High Frequency.
  • Playing Basic Sargam on the Bansuri.

2. Basic Level Flute Course (100 Level)

  • Duration: 6 – 8 Months (Two Semesters).
  • Structure: 20 Lessons / Maximum 24 Sessions.
  • Format: Individual Training (1 Hour Weekly).
  • Semester 1: Fingering, breathing, musical notes, and basic playing.
  • Semester 2: Songs in Taal Dadra (6 beats), Keherwa (8 beats), and JhapTaal (10 beats), plus 3 basic Ragas with grammatical approach.

3. Intermediate Courses (200 Level)

Semester 3 & 4: Deep dive into Raags of the Kafi Thaats.

  • Raags: Shiv Ranjani, Vrindavani Sarang, Bageshree, Bhimpalasi.
  • Theory: Scales, Thaats, and Modes.
  • Extra: Classic movie themes and signature tunes.
  • Production: Basic skills for music composition and production.

4. Advanced Courses (300 Level)

Semester 5 & 6: Mastery of Morning Raags and complex compositions.

  • Raags: Bhairav, Bhairavi, Malkauns, Ahir Bhairav.
  • Payment: Conducted via Monthly Payment system.
